Jan Thursday evening on-going pottery class

In the on-going class, students will build on the skills gained in the beginning class.  We will continue to master basic forms and learn to throw larger forms.  We will continue to work on handles, learn additional glazing techniques, and learn to do some basic carving and make fitted lids.  Students will be able to choose personal projects and receive assistance to complete chosen projects.  To enroll in this class, students should have completed the beginning class or should have prior basic experience with throwing pottery. Classes will run for 6 consecutive weeks.  Students will receive 50# of clay and the cost of the class will include glazing and firing of pieces made with the clay provided.  Students will have access to the studio during all open studio hours while enrolled.
